As an E&I Installation Craftsman you will play a vital role in upgrading our Assets by providing a safe, efficient, and effective service to all our customers. You will be able to interpret design drawings and specifications, install safe and hazardous area electrical and instrumentation equipment and complete test, inspection, and commissioning of install equipment.
What you’ll need
You will be highly motivated with a flexible and positive approach to work, together with good leadership, organisational, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, and be able to act on your own initiative. In addition, you need to be an effective communicator at all levels, within and beyond your own team. It is essential that you are committed to the SGN values and will work alongside your team to deliver SGN targets while operating within our safety rules.
We’re also looking for;
1. An Electrical installation background is essential, and a knowledge of gas or process industry, legislation, related health and safety policies and procedures would be beneficial but is not essential.
2. The candidate should ideally have the following qualifications or the equivalent. However, SGN will provide full training if required.
3. COMPeX Ex01 to Ex04
4. C&G 2391 Inspection & Test
5. C&G 2392 18th Edition Wiring Regulation
