Pay: - 12.21ph (08:00-20:00) - 13.20 (20:00-08:00) Duration: Ongoing Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 05:00 to 09:00 Location : Belfast International Airport Requirements of a Cargo Warehouse Operative : Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!) Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc) Provide a full 5-year address history Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!) Role of a Cargo Warehouse Operative : Trained to air side standards Labelling Parcels Scanning Parcels Uploading information on to a Computer Lifting and Moving Parcels (may be up to 10kg in certain areas) Physical Inspection of Cargo Operation of x-ray machines Responsible for using x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft Maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people and noise Work within a demanding environment, time critical and the requirement to identify and locate potentially life-threatening devices and devices intended on creating massive destruction Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following: Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
