Security Supervisor Contract: Banking Location: Dalkeith, EH22 3NL Hours of work: 42 Working Pattern: 18:00 - 06:00, 4 on / 4 off, nights only Contract Type: Permanent Hourly Rate: £14.29 We are seeking a Security Supervisor who is passionate about safety and delivering a great customer experience. As a Security Supervisor with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe and secure environment, protecting colleagues, customers, property, people and assets through exemplary security operations. We are looking for someone who can lead day-to-day security operations to ensure service delivery meets and exceeds both client and ISS expectations. The Role Plan and direct daily security operations, ensuring compliance with BS 7499 and local operating procedures Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it Monitor performance, identify underperformance, and take corrective action, reporting appropriately to management Stay vigilant and identify suspicious activity, preventing unauthorised access Maintain full awareness of daily site activity and events Resolve operational problems within your assigned area Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and report any breaches promptly About You Previous security experience A valid front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection) Knowledge and experience of security systems and related technology Strong leadership and people management skills Ability to challenge, coach, motivate and train staff to achieve positive results Excellent attention to detail with a consistent and professional approach Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
