What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead and motivate Team Managers and colleagues to achieve KPIs and operational targets
* Ensure safe working practices are always followed, driving a strong health & safety culture
* Manage performance, conduct, absence and training requirements across your shift
* Deliver effective shift briefs, operational handovers and communication updates
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and operational standards
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience managing teams in a high‑volume warehouse or logistics environment
* Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels
* A proactive, solution‑focused approach and the confidence to make decisions under pressure
* Ability to build strong working relationships and support team development
* Excellent organisational skills and commitment to safety and compliance
