As part of the Facilities Team, you will be a vital member in the post hub which deals primarily with in-coming and out-going post for East Sussex County Council, the delivery of post to departments, both at County Hall and other sites in collaboration with the internal courier service. You will also assist in the setting up of meeting rooms, minor office moves as well as supporting contractor access, waste disposal, health and safety issues, testing of fire alarms, reporting building faults and many more. key issues which form the foundations of Facilities Management. We are looking for candidates who: Can work with little supervision. Have a basic understanding of postal processes. Can prioritise their work dependant on need and react swiftly to occurring issues. Have an understanding of Health & Safety requirements. Have knowledge of manual handling guidelines.
