Equipment Hire Staff - Billing Aquadrome - Northampton, Northamptonshire Location: Billing Aquadrome NN3 9DA Bike Hire Assistant - The Equipment Hire Staff assists customers in hiring, returning, and using equipment safely while maintaining a clean, organized, and secure hire area. This role ensures excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations of the equipment hire service. Hours – Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and provide assistance with equipment hire queries Explain hire terms, usage instructions, and safety guidelines clearly Check equipment before and after hire for damage, wear, or maintenance needs Clean, maintain, and organize equipment and storage areas Process bookings, payments, and returns accurately Keep the hire area safe, tidy, and secure Report damaged or faulty equipment to supervisors promptly Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures Support team members during busy periods Key Skills & Experience: Friendly and customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and able to lift or move equipment safely Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays Desirable: No prior experience required; training will be provided Previous experience in customer service or equipment handling is an advantage Working Hours: Shift-based, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
