Bar Supervisor

Cucamara is one of Nottingham's busiest late-night student venues, known for high-energy nights, strong cocktails, and unforgettable midweek and weekend events. We're looking for a confident, hands-on Bar Supervisor to help lead the team and maintain high standards during our busiest shifts.

The Role
As Bar Supervisor, you'll support management in running smooth services, supervising staff, and ensuring customers receive fast, high-quality service. You'll also contribute to social media content and event promotion, helping bring the Cucamara brand to life both in venue and online.
Responsibilities
* Supervising shifts and supporting management
* Leading bar staff during busy student nights
* Ensuring consistent, high-quality cocktail service
* Cash handling and end-of-night procedures
* Assisting with stock control and organisation
* Training and mentoring new team members
* Supporting social media content creation (Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok)
* Promoting events and themed nights
* Maintaining cleanliness, compliance, and venue standards
What We're Looking For
* Previous bar experience (cocktail knowledge preferred)
* Supervisory experience is beneficial
* Confident in busy late-night environments
* Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
* Strong communication skills
* Interest in nightlife marketing and social media
* Flexible availability (evenings and weekends essential)
