A global consultancy firm which offers services into hundred of industries including Food, Pharma, Utilities, Environmental, Commodities and Mining are looking to grow its UK and Ireland divisions with the appointment of a Regional Financial Controller to be based from their site in the West Midlands.
Leading the UK and Ireland teams, the Regional Financial Controller will work closely with the Divisional Finance Director, European Finance Lead and wider Senior Leadership Team whilst managing the day to day finance team and being onvolved in numerous projects across systems (ERP), process improvements and post-acquisition integration work.
The Financial Controller has the following responsibilities for this region:
1. Oversee financial operations for the UK & Ireland regions.
2. Lead and manage the month end closing process.
3. Deliver monthly financial reports to Global HQ.
4. Provide proactive financial analysis to regional business leaders, by identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and drive/track strategic initiatives.
5. Manage and mentor financial staff.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
7. Foster relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local management, corporate teams, and external partners.
