We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to take ownership of the testing strategy, planning, and execution for our ERP systems and a suite of business and engineering applications. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our enterprise platforms, with a strong focus on supporting system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and business process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA leadership, test automation with enterprise systems (including ERP), along with the ability to work collaboratively across business units, engineering teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities
1. Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for enterprise application projects, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
2. Drive test automation strategy and implement tools and frameworks where appropriate
3. Establish and operate high performing combined Test and software QA function that will ensure all applications meet predefined d QA standards
4. Lead and coordinate quality assurance activities across ERP and engineering/business applications (e.g. Finance, HR, CRM, PLM, AEC Apps, etc.)
5. Ensure alignment with SDLC / Agile / DevOps practices and support continuous improvement in QA processes
6. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and third-party vendors to understand requirements and ensure high-quality delivery
7. Lead defect triage and resolution processes; establish and maintain a central defect management system
8. Oversee and perform system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and regression testing for ongoing system changes
9. Provide QA input during the planning and design phases of enterprise implementations
10. Manage QA resources (internal and/or external) and coordinate test activities across multiple workstreams
11. Contribute to risk assessments and provide quality metrics/reporting to stakeholders
12. Stay current with industry QA trends, tools, and practices
Qualifications
13. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
14. Proven experience (5+ years) in QA/Test leadership roles, ideally in complex enterprise environments
15. Hands-on experience with ERP implementation projects (e.g. SAP, Deltek, iPaaS platforms).
16. Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
17. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test lifecycle, and best practices for enterprise applications
18. Experience with AEC Apps (e.g. Autodesk, Hexagon & simulation software) is a strong advantage
19. Demonstrated expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Test Complete, Tosca, JUnit, etc.)
20. Proficiency in defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM)
21. Understanding of integrations, APIs, middleware, and data validation testing
22. Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments
23. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
24. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
25. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
