Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Bideford. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient handling of materials and components, contributing directly to our commitment to quality and precision in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the warehouse.
* Manage inventory by accurately loading and unloading materials.
* Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels.
* Perform materials handling tasks to ensure timely delivery of components.
* Assist in shipping and receiving processes to maintain workflow efficiency.
* Conduct heavy lifting as required while adhering to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
* Valid forklift certification desirable.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
* Mechanical knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Driving licence desirable.

25 Days holiday plus bank holidays
