About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities for contracts or work packages in accordance with overall project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define work scope to be delivered within contract or package of work and interfaces to other elements of program.
* Drive delivery of contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, to budget, meeting business and technical requirements.
* Monitor and manage progress of program - track progress against milestones, deadlines, budget, and provide key stakeholders with reports on these matters.
* Apply principles of Continuous Improvement.
* Develop, manage, and update (with project controls team) project and programme plans including full costing, resource management, cost management of risk, and critical path review, using appropriate software and tools.
* Manage change control as project/programme scope changes, using correct processes and updating necessary configuration documentation.
* Understand project control methodologies and processes for programme and project management.
* Apply principles of Earned Value Management (EVM).
About You:
We are looking for a motivated and suitably qualified individual to join our Technical Communities based in the South West of England. The ideal candidate will have preferably Degree/HND - Civils, Building or M&E related, preferably chartered (CIOB, ICE, IET, CIBSE, etc), PM qualification or proven experience of operating within recognised PM delivery methodology, proven experience of managing construction/manufacturing related projects, experience of managing NEC and/or FIDIC contracts, able to demonstrate strong management skills including financial, risk, change, engineering, and schedule, and appreciation of Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements in a highly regulated environment.
