1. Is a practicing Catholic or who is sympathetic to the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church
2. Is able to demonstrate excellent and creative teaching and learning opportunities for children, which results in outstanding achievement for every pupil
3. Has very good interpersonal skills and high expectations
4. Has an excellent knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage 2 and KS1 practice
5. Is an excellent role model
6. Understands the vocational nature of teaching and is willing to contribute to, and take a full and active role in school life
7. Is well-qualified, articulate and committed to the very highest standards in education.
