Prepare and produce the parts list for each job in Excel Issue jobs for manufacture to the relevant departments using Excel Liaise with clients and colleagues by phone and email to ensure key information is kept up to date Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and clients. With Saferoad you will also have the opportunity to: Undertake internal training on our 2D & 3D CAD software, SolidWorks & DraftSight. Once trained you will be able to produce layout drawings, fabrication drawings and bespoke solutions as required. Attending internal training courses run by our Training Officer to gain installation and general product knowledge of the systems you will be drawing, such as our suite of MegaRail safety barrier systems, non-proprietary systems and bridge parapets systems. Conduct site surveys with our site management and estimating team, gathering on-site information, and enabling fabrication drawings to be produced. Attend site meetings where required, offering your expertise in the design and implementation of our systems. The training you will be getting Training will be at North Lindsey College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer. On-the-job training will be provided at SafeRoad Concord House offices & the Kirton Lindsey Warehouse facility. Day release at North Lindsey College You will undertake the Level 3 Engineering Design and Draughtsperson standard qualification. You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.
