Its a hands-on, dualskilled role where youll work across digital print production and automated inserting, matching printed card pages correctly, folding them, inserting them into envelopes, and preparing everything for dispatch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, pays close attention to detail, and feels comfortable working in a fastpaced production environment.What you will be doing?In this role, youll operate our digital print equipment to produce personalised cards and related products, keeping a close eye on print quality throughout each run and making adjustments when needed. Youll carry out routine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance to keep the equipment running reliably, as well as setting up and operating auto inserter machines for card folding and envelope insertion. Accuracy is key, so youll make sure printed card pages and envelopes are correctly matched using control sheets or barcode systems, adjust machine settings to maintain speed and quality, and confidently clear jams, identify faults, and escalate issues when required.Youll play an important part in quality control by making sure every order is complete, accurate, and meets Funky Pigeons standards. This means completing regular checks to prevent mismatches, missing inserts, or print defects, while helping to minimise rework, waste, and customer reprints.
