SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER JOB IN NEW MILTON

As a key member of their commercial team, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the management of their supply chain team which covers purchasing and planning activities for all materials ensuring quality, price and supply logistics meet customer needs. You will also support and coach the supply chain team to ensure high standards are achieved and maintained. Salary and Benefits:
* A salary of circa £45,000 per annum
* Working Monday to Friday 7.30 am – 4.30 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for purchasing all materials required and package products for On Time In Full delivery to customers, while optimising the total cost of ownership and inventory levels
* Responsibility for long- and short-term supply planning, using MRP to drive decision making and efficiency in our processes.
* Supplier relationship management, including generating and developing new relationships with potential suppliers, working with the purchasing team to successfully maintain existing supplier relationships, and creating partnerships to deliver increased value through the supply chain
* Liaise with key internal stakeholders including sales, production and quality teams to minimise disruption caused by stock outs, obsolete stock or delayed deliveries
* Managing supplier contracts and terms and conditions.
* Reporting of purchasing KPIs to other business functions and senior management
* Documentation and updating of standard procedures, as well as development of systems.
* Management and coaching of supply chain team members.
Minimum Skills and Experience:
* Experience in a supply chain management or senior buyer role including excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Expertise in using ERP and MRP systems to drive efficient supply chain planning
* Strong management skills including the ability to develop strong relationships across key functions
* Experience of managing processes with external and internal stakeholders
* Ability to, and experience in, improving processes to maximise efficient, effective, working relationships
* Highly numerate, analytical, organised and accurate
