Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
* Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials.
* Handling materials with care to ensure quality control throughout the process.
* Managing stock levels and ensuring proper storage of goods within the warehouse.
* Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading deliveries.
* Maintaining an organised and clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
* Performing regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies as needed.
* Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Skills
* Proficient in picking packing procedures with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong understanding of materials handling techniques and safety protocols.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
* Knowledge of shipping receiving processes and documentation requirements.
* Ability to perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products.
* Capable of heavy lifting as required, with good physical stamina for long shifts.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
