We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Creative Arts Leader to join The Basildon Upper Academy, on a one-year fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
Salary £33,959- £51,984 (M1 - AL3 Academy Qualified Teachers Scale), plus £5000 ARA (Academy Responsibility Allowance)
Our academy operates across two sites: The Lower Academy, specializing in Key Stage 3, and The Upper Academy, focusing on Key Stages 4 and 5.
The Creative Arts Faculty boasts a team of highly trained practitioners who collaborate and share expertise through department CPD.
The Upper Academy offers facilities including a photography studio with backdrops and professional lighting, a darkroom, DSLR cameras, industry-standard editing software, dedicated KS5 studio, large-scale printing, 3D printer/laser, spray booths, textiles facilities, and Digital Graphics tablets. Both campuses are supported by technicians.
