HR Assistant Business Partner

Stirling (Hybrid)
LHH is delighted to partner with Stirling Council as they seek a HR Assistant Business Partner to join their People and Community Wellbeing team. At Stirling Council, our People services are key in supporting our organisation and our people in overcoming the challenges we face. We know it is critical for us to build these services to ensure that we have a People function with the resource and talent required to help achieve our council’s aims and ambitions. Our key priorities include driving forward best practice in policy and processes; delivering fully on our commitment to the Scottish Fair Work framework; and developing and embedding innovative and forward-thinking practice, all to effectively support the vital work we do for Stirling’s communities.
As HR Assistant Business Partner, you will report to the HR Business Lead and provide a comprehensive range of professional HR advice and guidance to Managers, trade unions, and colleagues in allocated service areas. This role will work closely with HR colleagues across other services and within the wider HR service to ensure seamless cross-service delivery, and to highlight and take forward opportunities for sharing best practices and learning. You will ensure the application of consistent HR policy, process, and procedure, and adherence to employment legislation and best practices.
We are looking for an individual with experience in a generalist HR position, providing professional support, advice, and guidance on standard and non-standard HR matters in an operational environment. You will have up-to-date knowledge of employment law and its practical application and be CIPD qualified at Associate Level.
If you are ready to join a supportive work environment where you can make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you. Applications, including a tailored CV and a covering letter (no longer than two pages), should be submitted by midnight Sunday 18 May to Stirling@LHH.com.
For a confidential, informal discussion about the role, please contact LHH directly at +44 (0)141 220 6460 or email the aforementioned address.
The application page will open in a new window.
