Job Description
Our client is a large local government organisation looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion specialist to join their team.
This is initially a 3-month contract, which may be extended for the right applicant.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in identifying and correcting historical pay/pensions pay calculations by recalculating pay and deduction elements over possibly 3 years, working closely with current SI on identifying and testing absence and other system fixes for the payroll team.
2. Lead the creation of guidance documentation and training for current payroll staff on pay process or formula issues, including detailed guidance notes on findings and proposed solutions.
3. Assist the current project lead in automating the pay uplift process.
4. Run live payrolls in collaboration with the payroll team, identify, report, and test system fixes, and communicate findings to the current SI in Brent.
5. Test all proposed solutions against current payroll issues in Oracle Cloud, acting as an intermediary between the SI and payroll team to ensure system fixes are tested and resolved, providing live data for payroll sign-off.
