Hours: 20 per week
An independent boarding and day Pre-Prep and Prep school for boys aged 4 - 13 years, situated in Summertown, Oxford. Catering for over 400 students and teachers daily, offering breakfast, lunch, and supper, along with some hospitality. This operation runs 7 days a week, with shift patterns typically 5 days over 7.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious Oxford location.
Your role will be vital in maintaining the kitchen's hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
* Pot wash duties experience is advantageous
* Great team player
* Assist chefs with food preparation
* Maintain high cleanliness standards at all times
* Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
* Operate industrial dishwasher
We are looking for:
* Kitchen Porter experience is preferred but not essential
* Organisational skills
* Good verbal English understanding and communication
* Basic written English and reading skills
* Experience in customer service or food prep environment is a plus
