This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week over 5 days.
As a Head Housekeeper at HC-One you will lead the housekeeping team to keep every area spotless, maintain high standards and ensure the safety, cleanliness and comfort of all residents. You will plan, organise and oversee daily cleaning operations and support your team to deliver best practice in a resident‑centred environment.
Responsibilities
* Managing the cleaning rota and daily schedules
* Leading by example and supporting your team
* Overseeing laundry for personal and shared items
* Ordering cleaning products and supplies
* Following and updating infection control procedures
* Keeping records and completing cleaning checks
* Ensuring safety and COSHH guidelines are met
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You will recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training relevant to your role, seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
Qualifications
• Housekeeping experience and team leadership skills.
• Ability to organise and operate within Health & Safety and infection control frameworks.
• Friendly, positive and kind demeanour in every conversation and task.
