We are looking for a Stock Controller to join our team in Rochdale. You will assist the Stock Team Leader in maintaining efficient and accurate store management, ensuring kit is provided for Production, Field Engineering Teams, and Suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Obtain physical receipts of stock
2. Book in stock using the Access Dimensions system and physically store stock correctly in the warehouse
3. Book out stock as required
4. Understand weekly stock holding processes, focusing on key stock items
5. Assist with regular stock counts to ensure ledger accuracy
6. Prepare kits for orders to support the production schedule
7. Manage faulty equipment stock with suppliers for efficient repairs and replacements
8. Report supplier return issues to the Stocks & Stores team leader
9. Support warehouse cleanliness and appearance of Engineering hubs
10. Ensure stores are organized, identifiable, and accessible
11. Adhere to WCCTV Quality Procedures and Policies in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards
Your Experience:
1. Experience with physical stock receipt
2. Warehouse environment experience
3. Inventory control and stock count experience
4. Desirable: experience with hazardous substances and forklift operation
5. Experience in physically demanding roles involving heavy lifting
6. Strong health and safety awareness
7. Excellent organizational skills
8. Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
