Are you a commercially focused Product Manager with experience in engineering or manufactured goods?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering group at their UK manufacturing HQ, where you'll play a key role in shaping product strategy, driving growth and supporting the full lifecycle of a global product portfolio.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll be responsible for both NPD and the commercial performance of existing product lines. This is a hands-on role with real influence over product revenue, margin improvement, pricing strategy and forecasting.
What You'll Be Doing as Product Manager:
Leading product management across NPD, existing product ranges and business model optimisation
Creating detailed product remits including technical specifications, pricing, forecast sales and launch timelines
Managing product launches in collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Technical teams
Supporting the Engineering Change process to ensure smooth product introduction and lifecycle updates
Monitoring product performance against sales, margin and market share targets, taking corrective action where needed
Conducting market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats
Developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximise gross profit
Leading product lifecycle reviews, range rationalisation and portfolio optimisation
Estimating demand forecasts and contributing to the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process
Working with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to optimise inventory levels and business models
Supporting the preparation of strategic and operational plansWhat We're Looking For:
Degree in an engineering or business-related discipline
Proven experience in product management of engineering or manufactured goods
Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial reporting, forecasting and margin analysis
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong project management and analytical abilities
Advanced Excel and solid IT proficiency (Word and PowerPoint)
Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently across departmentsThe Package Includes:
