General Practice Surveyor - Commercial Property
Location:
This role covers the East Midlands, including Leicestershire, Rutland, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Hybrid working is available from regional professional services hubs or from home.
Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus a discretionary bonus scheme
Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join a well-established and growing commercial property team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of formal valuation reports, alongside providing professional landlord and tenant advice to a diverse client base.
This is a key role within the team, offering the chance to contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of the business across valuation and professional services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver valuation reports in line with client instructions and RICS Red Book standards
2. Provide expert landlord and tenant advice
3. Ensure full compliance with relevant industry regulations
4. Liaise regularly with commercial property management teams
5. Report directly to senior leadership within the commercial department
Essential Requirements
6. MRICS
7. Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
8. Clean driving license
Experience & Key Attributes
Proven experience valuing a range of property types
Demonstrated experience in landlord and tenant matters
9. Strong report writing skills with excellent attention to detail
10. Good knowledge of the Midlands property market
11. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
