An established contractor with a strong project pipeline is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to support the delivery of residential, affordable housing and commercial building projects.
This is a senior role with real ownership. You will manage multiple projects at varying stages, taking responsibility for safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance.
YOUR NEW ROLE
*
Overall contractual, commercial, and operational control of assigned projects
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
*
Managing subcontractors, trades, and site teams
*
Overseeing quality standards, programme delivery, and change control
*
Supporting design coordination and buildability on design-and-build schemes
*
Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
*
Monitoring budgets, costs, and project performance
ABOUT YOU
*
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within residential or mixed-use construction
*
Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, including PCSA stages
*
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
*
Commercially astute, organised, and comfortable taking ownership
*
Relevant construction qualification or equivalent industry experience
*
Full UK driving licence
