A leading UK based rural and property consultancy with a strong national presence is looking to appoint an experienced Forestry Consultant (Regional Manager) to join its growing forestry team. With a large in house network of specialists and offices across the country, the business provides end to end forestry and woodland management services to a diverse client base including private estates, public sector bodies, and commercial investors.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Regional Manager, you will take a lead role in delivering and developing forestry and woodland services across a key geographic region in Scotland. You will combine technical expertise with commercial leadership to drive growth and client success.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading forestry and woodland management projects across a varied portfolio
* Driving business development and identifying new opportunities
* Managing budgets and contributing to regional financial performanceOverseeing long-term forest planning and woodland creation projects
* Managing grant applications and associated compliance
* Supporting timber harvesting, restocking, and ongoing maintenance programmes
* Using GIS for mapping, reporting, and data management
* Delivering forest certification and regulatory compliance work
* Managing and mentoring team members, including performance reviews and development
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Developing and implementing regional strategies to support growth
What You Need
* Proven experience in forestry or woodland management at a senior level
* Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
* Experience managing teams and leading projects
* Knowledge of UK forestry regulations, grants, and certification schemes
* Competence in GIS and forestry data systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to think strategically and deliver long-term plans
* A proactive, collaborative approach with strong leadership qualities
