Job Purpose
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of fire and security systems across a variety of sites. You will work closely with the Service Manager and support teams to ensure all systems remain compliant, reliable, and fully operational. This role requires solid technical knowledge, excellent fault-finding skills, and a strong focus on customer service.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Service, maintain, and repair fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control, and CCTV.
* Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits and emergency callouts.
* Join the on call rota for out of hours calls.
* Diagnose faults and undertake effective repairs in a timely manner.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards.
* Liaise with clients to provide technical advice and support.
* Complete service reports, job sheets, and system documentation accurately.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth communication
