Location: Ancoats, Manchester - Hybrid / Remote
Salary: £30,000–£40,000 base + £15,000 OTE (uncapped)

We’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development Executive (BDE) to help shape and drive our newly formed outbound function - generating qualified pipeline, uncovering real business challenges, and playing a key role in defining the culture and success of our accelerated growth journey.
Reporting directly to our GTM Manager, this role gives you the opportunity to help shape how we take Clarus WMS to market - from refining our targeting strategy to leading meaningful conversations that drive new business. High performers can expect a clear progression path into an Account Executive position.
What You’ll Do
Outbound Prospecting & Qualification - Execute targeted outbound campaigns through calls, LinkedIn, and email. Hold engaging conversations with senior decision-makers to uncover business requirements, pain points, and opportunities.
Strategic Targeting & Collaboration - Partner with the GTM Manager and sales team to build and iterate on account lists by industry, persona, and region. Feed insights from the front line into strategy and messaging.
Discovery & Opportunity Handover - Book structured discovery calls with clear qualification notes, context, and outcomes. Ensure a smooth, high-quality pipeline handover.
Lead Nurturing & Re-Engagement - Keep warm leads engaged through multi-channel outreach, personalised follow-ups, and thoughtful reactivation campaigns.
Process & Playbook Development - Contribute to refining outbound messaging, objection handling, and qualification frameworks to scale performance and efficiency.
Learning & Career Growth - Stay ahead of industry trends, sharpen your sales skills, and progress towards an Account Executive role with active mentorship and support.
How Success Will Be Measured
* Consistent daily phone activity, supported by LinkedIn and email engagement
* Meeting conversion rate (% of outbound touches resulting in booked meetings)
* Lead qualification rate (% of meetings progressing to SQLs)
* Pipeline contribution from outbound activity
* CRM hygiene and reporting accuracy
What We’re Looking For
* 1–3 years of SDR, new business, or outbound sales experience (B2B SaaS or logistics preferred)
* Proven success booking and qualifying meetings with mid-senior decision-makers
* Skilled in consultative discovery and uncovering business pain points
* Collaborative mindset with strong communication, curiosity, and resilience
* Familiarity with tools like, Zoho CRM, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
