About the Role
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operations of Golden Age Aged Care. You will oversee clinical care, workforce management, financial performance, and resident outcomes, ensuring the service consistently delivers high-quality, person‑centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all aspects of service operations, ensuring high standards of care
* Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and legislative requirements
* Manage financial performance, budgets, and operational targets
* Build strong relationships within the Bundaberg community to support occupancy and reputation
* Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive workplace culture
* Drive continuous improvement and a strong focus on safety and quality
About You
You are a capable and values‑driven leader who thrives in a dynamic aged care environment and is passionate about delivering excellence.
To be successful, you will have:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) or relevant postgraduate qualifications in health or business administration
* Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience, including leadership in aged care or healthcare
* Demonstrated experience managing operations, budgets, and service performance
* Strong knowledge of aged care standards, funding models, and compliance requirements
* Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve outcomes
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills
* A commitment to quality care, safety, and continuous improvement
Compliance Requirements
* Current driver’s licence
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to meet Responsible Person obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024
