Responsibilities
* Hold and manage care proceedings from start to final hearing and permanency planning.
* Deliver exceptional quality assessments and case management, using evidence‑based approaches.
* Work in a team with manageable caseloads, reflective supervision and a strong team culture.
* Support and mentor newly qualified social workers and students to develop the workforce of tomorrow.
* Be part of a city‑wide transformation focused on better outcomes for children and families.
Qualifications
* A Social Work England registration and recognised Social Work qualification.
* Significant experience in both safeguarding and the family court arena.
* Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, including Working Together to Safeguard Children.
* Confidence to complete high‑quality assessments and evidence‑based reports in a timely manner.
* A child‑centred, restorative approach, working collaboratively with families and partners.
