About the Fluid Management Technician / Lubrication Technician
As our new Fluid Management Technician / Lubrication Technician you will be located on-site a customer operation within the defence sector and report to the Lubrication Manager.
Your role is key in ensuring the customer operation continues to run smoothly. You’ll attend customer meetings, manage the work schedule and follow strict practices and procedures including 5s and Health and Safety, always providing a high level of customer service.
Your role will cover the shop floor and office. Day to day you will be handling and distribute and apply lubricants to agree planned maintenance schedules.
You’ll have excellent IT skills, proficient in Excell, Word and PowerPoint.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week
7am – 3:30pm Monday to Thursday.
7am – 2:30pm Fridays.
Key responsibilities as our Fluid Management Technician / Lubrication Technician
Manage work schedule.
Handling and distribution of lubricants.
Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules.
Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting.
Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site.
Machine cleanouts including sample taking, testing and treatment.
Provide a high level of Customer Service.
Customer liaison including understanding requirements.
Ordering of lubricants and oils.
Maintain lubrication surveys and internal database.
Working knowledge of RAMS.
Perform all duties in accordance with the company SHEQ policy.
Ensure that output meets quality standards.
