The Role
Reporting directly to the Principal, the Vice Principal of Academics will lead the development and delivery of the school\'s academic strategy. This role is ideal for a passionate, future-focused educational leader who thrives in a digital environment and is committed to raising standards through innovation, collaboration, and values-led leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the academic vision, curriculum planning, and teaching standards across the school
* Drive continuous improvement in academic outcomes through effective use of data and feedback
* Line-manage and support academic staff, fostering professional growth and excellence
* Ensure curriculum delivery is inclusive, innovative, and aligned with regulatory frameworks
* Promote a high-performance culture grounded in respect, compassion, and collaboration
* Lead quality assurance processes and professional development across subject teams
Person Specification
* Proven experience in academic leadership, ideally in an online or flexible learning environment
* Deep understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy, and performance monitoring
* Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, values-led approach
* Excellent communication and coaching abilities
* Tech-savvy and confident navigating digital learning platforms and virtual environments
* Relevant teaching qualification and a degree in education or a related field
* Willingness and ability to travel to London occasionally for key meetings
