GSL Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in schools across Loughborough. Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
* Support students with communication, social, emotional, and physical needs.
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans (ILPs).
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
