We are seeking experienced Butchers to manage our Butchery Departments as if it were their own business. This exciting role involves working closely with customers to develop their business, understanding the local market, and providing excellent service.
This position offers the flexibility to operate a butchery business without financial risk. Ideal candidates will have strong product knowledge of all meat proteins, be self-motivated, and eager to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures, and meat displays
2. Working with the Store Manager to develop business plans for growth
3. Greeting customers, providing advice, and handling orders with a friendly approach
4. Managing stock levels and stocktaking
5. Leading a small team, including staff scheduling
6. Cutting meat to order and maintaining tools and equipment
7. Coordinating deliveries and managing waste
