Ongoing Contract Immediate StartA warm and well-organised Secondary school located in the borough of Hillingdon is seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The school are open to ECTs or teachers with more experience.
The Role
The school is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, and dedicated Religious Education Teacher with a passion for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and develop a love for Religious Education.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting them in achieving their academic potential.
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Humanities.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.The School:
