Cover Supervisor – Independent All-Through School, Reigate
Location: Reigate, Surrey
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Pay: £100–£115 per day
We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our brilliant independent all-through school in Reigate. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across all year groups, from Prep through to Sixth Form.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged in their learning
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
* Deliver pre-prepared work and provide support to pupils where required
* Work flexibly across a range of subjects and age groups
* Contribute to the wider life of the school community
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for candidates with:
* Strong academic background (minimum of A-Levels, ideally degree-educated)
* Previous experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, coaching, or youth work)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* The confidence to lead a classroom and inspire pupils
* A proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
