Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen and ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee your assigned kitchen section efficiently
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes and specifications
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of your workstation
* Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste
* Support and guide junior kitchen staff when required
* Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during service
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Passion for food, quality, and consistency
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
