Market leading, multi site company require experienced ACA/ACCA or CIMA part of fully qualified Finance Manager for a newly created position at office based, at well situated offices in Chertsey, Surrey.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Finance the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting across multiple locations. Key duties will include:
* Overseeing the workload of a small Head Office Accounting team
* Preparation and review of multi-site profit & loss accounts and consolidated financial reporting
* Responsible for the calculation and posting of accounting journals including accruals & prepayments
* Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparation of consolidated budgets & forecasts in conjunction with the operations department
* Conducting budget review meetings with senior management
* Management of the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
* Preparation of audit schedules and audit liaison
* Calculation of sales commissions and related journal preparation
* VAT Returns
* Construction and maintaining EXCEL Spreadsheets
About you
* You will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA part or fully qualified and have SME experience as a Finance Manager or Management Accountant ideally with multi-site accounting experience.
* Applicants with be well organised, tenacious and possess strong IT skills including MS Excel
* In addition you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data to both customers and colleagues.
* Previous management experience is advantageous
