Role Overview
We are assisting our client who is seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Project Manager to join their senior delivery team. This is a pivotal role overseeing major projects from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring successful delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters. The ideal candidate will bring proven M&E expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage high-value, technically demanding schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage electrical project delivery from early design and pre-construction phases through to completion and commissioning.
Oversee planning, programming, procurement, and commercial performance of projects.
Provide leadership to project teams, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring strong communication and collaboration.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and in compliance with client and industry standards.
Work closely with commercial teams on cost management, variations, and forecasting.
Build and maintain client relationships, representing the company at senior level.
Drive innovation, technical solutions, and best practices across projects.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an M&E contracting environment.
Strong technical understanding of electrical systems within complex building projects.
Track record of delivering large-scale projects, ideally in commercial offices, laboratories, or data centres.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent commercial awareness and contract management experience.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high client satisfaction.
Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications (HND, degree, or equivalent).
