Company: Our client is a specialist refurbishment and fit out contractor operating predominantly in London and the southeast providing turnkey washroom refurbishment solutions. 25 years of trading has created a strong brand with widespread recognition predominantly in the education sector. Recent years have seen significant growth in the company with an increasing portion of revenue now coming from working with commercial enterprises. Position: They are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Project Manager to oversee washroom refurbishment projects from planning through to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You will manage all phases of refurbishment and construction, coordinate teams, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Key tasks • Plan, schedule, and manage refurbishment and construction projects from preconstruction through to completion. • Develop budgets, timelines, and project scopes in coordination with clients and stakeholders. • Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers. • Oversee onsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and budgets as needed. • Conduct site inspections and resolve issues or delays. • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders. • Ensure all work meets building codes, legal requirements, and client expectations. • Manage procurement of materials and equipment. • Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, contract variations, and approvals. Key Performance Indicators • Gross Profit - Improvement on every project. • Customer Service – Uphold company NPS score of 80 • Programme – Projects run within timeframe. • Quality – Workmanship upholds the company brand. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management. • Proven track record of managing commercial projects. • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • PMP or PRINCE2 similar project management certification is a plus. • IOSH certification is preferred
