Quantity Surveyor
Location: 4 days in Birmingham 1 in Leeds
Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Package
Company Overview
Our client is a well-established and growing fit-out and refurbishment contractor with an annual turnover of approximately €45 million. The company delivers high-quality commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and specialist refurbishment projects across Ireland, with an expanding footprint in the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the commercial and financial performance of projects
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
* Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises
* Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
* Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow
* Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience (QS)
* Experience within fit-out, refurbishment, or main contracting preferred
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
