Job Purpose
* Preparation of accounts for a diverse client portfolio, using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
* Auditing financial statements from planning to completion
* Undertaking individual assignments, ensuring an effective and timely delivery throughout
* Delivering bookkeeping and management accounting services
* Finalisation of accounts and corporation tax computations following client meetings
* Preparation of reports for the review of Directors
* Conversing clearly and effectively by using computer software
* Supporting junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
* Liaising directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
* Working to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
* Promoting services to existing and prospective clients
* Championing your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
* Supporting the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

The Successful Applicant
* ACCA or ACA qualified, part qualified, studying
* Qualified by experience also considered
* Proven track record of owner-managed small to medium business accounts preparation
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Self-motivated, professional and eager to progress
* Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
* Discreet, professional and a team player
* A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
* Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
* Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
* Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
* Able to work confidently with senior team members
