As Management Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team, working closely with senior management to deliver accurate financial insights and support strategic decision-making. You'll play a central role in shaping financial systems, driving efficiency, and underpinning future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Support ERP implementation and assist with system setup for new group businesses.Deliver gross margin analysis by SKU, providing data-driven insights for forecasting and profitability.Prepare monthly management accounts and provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.Produce budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to guide strategic and operational decisions.Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.Oversee insurance, legal, HR, and data compliance requirements.Supervise an Accounts Assistant, supporting their development.Manage and improve IT systems and processes across the business.
About You
Professionally qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).Proven experience as a Management Accountant within manufacturing, FMCG, or a product-based environment.Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and reporting.Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Proficient in financial systems and MS Office (particularly Excel).Strong understanding of VAT, tax, and compliance.Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with excellent communication and organisational skills.A proactive self-starter who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced SME environment.
