Salary: £12.21 per hour (£25,396.80 per annum)

Highlea Care Limited is part of National Care Group.
Based in and around the Bishop Auckland and Shildon area, Highlea Care supports adults and young people across 16 supported living services. We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, mental health, and challenging behaviours. We promote person-centred support and help each person to achieve their goals and aspirations.
We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Highlea Care Limited - Highfield based in Kirkmerrington.

The role of a Support Worker
You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfill their potential. This role can be challenging but highly rewarding.
You will build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together. You will help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and errands. Support may include personal care, eating, and medication administration. You will also help plan and participate in activities and outings, supporting independence and personal growth.
