The ideal candidate is someone with a background in transport, familiar with the Courier Exchange and confident when speaking to customers over the phone. We would like someone to join the our team to find backloads for our own drivers and subcontractors. As well as this, you would be required to send POD's to customers, call the relevant person with delivery time updates and answer any queries from drivers or customers.
Responsibilities
* Bid for work for the drivers to come back to base with
* Keep track of any delays and inform the relevant person
* Upload POD's
* Respond to emails regarding queries
* Update the OTIF each morning

* Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
* Good punctuality
* Team player
* Attention to details
* Good knowledge of excel
Hours
8am-5:30pm fully on-site
Salary
The salary for this role starts at £32k but willing to negotiate much higher than this if the right person had the relevant experience and skills needed.
