Assistant Water Mitigation Supervisor Brighton
Position Overview
This is a high-impact position within our organization. We seek a candidate with technical experience who thrives in our company culture. The Assistant Water Mitigation Supervisor is responsible for implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The role supervises the Water Mitigation Team and ensures water mitigation and customer service standards are met. Ultimately, you will help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable by leading and motivating the team to enhance customer experience and adopt best practices.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage production, procurement, and daily operations planning.
2. Ensure timely, compliant, and accurate management of work orders, licensing, and business information.
3. Assist in developing operational and business strategies aligned with company vision.
4. Conduct onsite evaluations for compliance, safety, and quality standards; escalate issues to ownership.
5. Coordinate with sales to meet customer commitments; may participate in sales for key accounts.
6. Support office staff, technicians, and sales teams with customer escalations and technical support.
7. Review operational metrics, handle escalations, and resolve issues.
8. Supervise production staff, estimators, and claims coordinators.
9. Manage vendor relationships and influence vendor selection.
10. Communicate process changes and ensure all relevant staff are informed.
11. Coordinate operational activities affecting business decisions.
12. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
13. Improve operational systems, provide training on new initiatives and technology.
14. Guide team growth and success, providing leadership and support.
15. Manage internal assets including equipment, materials, and supplies.
16. Monitor KPIs, production quality, and safety standards.
17. Plan workloads and schedules to meet targets cost-effectively.
18. Review workloads, train, and supervise staff as needed.
Job Requirements
1. 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
2. Effective communication skills for training and group presentations.
3. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
5. Experience as a lead water technician preferred.
6. Ability to influence and hold senior leaders accountable.
7. Motivational leadership skills.
8. Effective time and workload management.
9. Teamwork and collaboration skills.
10. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
11. Negotiation experience with suppliers and vendors.
12. Knowledge of business, financial principles, and organizational improvement.
13. Strong leadership abilities and industry knowledge, including IICRC Water certification.
