Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School – Walsall
Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and succeed in education? A thriving secondary school in Walsall is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students who require additional guidance with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students who may be at risk of exclusion or struggling to remain focused in class. This role is ideal for someone with experience working with secondary-aged students, particularly those with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges. You will work 1-1 and with small groups, delivering tailored support and helping students develop the skills they need to thrive in and beyond school.
Job Role:
* Supporting secondary students to improve behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Working with students on a 1-1 or small group basis
* Helping implement behaviour plans and strategies across the school
* Collaborating with pastoral staff and teachers to support student development
* Acting as a positive role model and consistent presence throughout the day
