Job Overview

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join a front‑office facing technology team within our Equities Technology group. You will collaborate directly with the trade floor business unit to develop and enhance our strategically important Cash Low Touch platform.

The Equities business has set an ambitious growth plan, and a strong BA/PM is critical to achieving our goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our leading position in the financial market, working in a fast‑paced environment alongside a team of highly experienced technologists. You will be part of the Global Cash Equities Low Touch BA/PM team, with resources across London, Belfast, New York, New Jersey, Toronto, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Pune.

What you’ll do

As a hybrid Business Analyst and Project Manager, you will own the analysis and project management for key technology initiatives benefiting the Cash Equities, Delta 1, and Derivatives businesses.

Project & Program Management

* Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of critical projects, including business discretionary, mandatory, and regulatory initiatives.
* Chair and drive project‑related meetings, providing clear status reporting on progress, next steps, issues, and risks to all stakeholders.
* Provide project and program oversight, manage budgets, and resolve day‑to‑day project issues and conflicting workload priorities.
* Contribute to formulation of strategies/processes for Product Road map, Development and Governance and contribute to defining standards and new automation initiatives.

Business Analysis & Delivery

* Partner with the business to drive technology governance and define clear, documented functional requirements to Citi standards.
* Conduct detailed business analysis to support strategic platform improvements and client requests, including scope definition and dependency mapping.
* Coordinate with development, testing, and production support teams to plan releases and provide post‑implementation support.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

* Interact frequently with stakeholders at all levels, from junior analysts to senior management, across Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Compliance, and Risk.
* Assist and support the user community with change management, ensuring release contents are understood by producing clear release notes and overseeing test case creation.
* Develop communication to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customers.
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you

Required:

* Significant experience in a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager role, with a proven delivery record across the full project lifecycle (prioritization, requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment).
* Demonstrated ability to run multiple projects simultaneously involving both process change and technology enhancements.
* Strong experience managing competing priorities in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
* Excellent problem‑solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle complex projects independently and thrive in a high‑pressure environment.
* A self‑motivated and proactive approach with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines according to business needs.

Preferred:

* Front‑office experience in Equities, particularly Cash Equities.
* Solid understanding of the full trade life cycle, including pre‑trade, compliance, and regulatory controls.
* Knowledge of the key functions and processes of the Cash and Delta 1 businesses.
* Experience delivering regulatory projects and understanding their unique constraints.
* Exposure to Agile project management principles and methodologies.
* A keen attention to detail and relevant product knowledge.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence.

Education

* Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
