Bank Playworkers needed at our Regency Youth Clubs. Hours are flexible around your availability.
You must:
* Have at least 1 year experience of supporting children with a variety of support needs including autism, complex and challenging behaviour and personal care.
* Be over 18 years old.
Location: Regency High School, Warndon, Worcester
Saturday Clubs (usually first 2 Saturdays/ month) 9.30am-3.30pm
After School Clubs (Tuesdays & Thursdays) 3.30pm-5pm
Holiday Clubs (Easter, Half Terms, Summer) 9.30am-3.30pm
Pay: £12.30per hour (£13.78inc. holiday pay)
* To support children with SEND to access fun activities, including day trips out, whilst responding positively to all their needs.
* To supervise young people aged 11-17 ensuring their safety.
* To meet the physical and emotional needs of the young people.
* To work alongside your keywork child/children, undertaking the duties necessary to always ensure their safety and wellbeing.
* Actively engage in risk assessments, setting up, packing away, cleaning as necessary.
* To assist at an appropriate level with personal and intimate care.
* To assist in all the physical management needs of the young people including their safe positioning and hoisting.
* To have a positive approach to behaviour management.
Playworkers must have sufficient command of the English language to ensure the welfare and safety of the children being cared for.

Schedule: Summer holiday, Monday- Friday, Saturdays, after school.
