Overview
St John Rigby College offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses at all levels in a highly supportive and caring environment to approximately 1500 full-time students aged 16-18. We welcome applications from people who are keen to work with us to deliver educational excellence at all levels.
In January 2024 the College retained its Ofsted “outstanding” judgement with inspectors commenting: “students are highly motivated to achieve.” They embody the culture of kindness, mutual respect and high expectation that permeate the college. In December 2023, the “outstanding” inspection report from the Catholic Schools Inspectorate began with: “St John Rigby College is a joyful, happy and supportive community.”

Student Liaison Officer
As the Student Liaison Officer, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to facilitate students\' personal, social and educational development and to contribute effectively to the College’s inclusive environment and overall student experience.

Start Date: ASAP
Hours per week: Full time, 36.25 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday - Friday 08:30 – 16:30
Tenure: Permanent, term time only plus 1 week
Salary/Grade: 7 - 9 of the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine - currently £25,951 – £26,818 pro rata, per annum. (Actual salary is £22,233 - £22,975 per annum)
